An evening with the “dynamic duo!”

Kathrine Switzer 1967 Boston Marathon

Spend an evening with “Marathon Woman” Kathrine Switzer and running historian Roger Robinson as they speak to Switzer’s epic journey toward being the first woman to officially register and run the Boston Marathon in 1967 and the ripple effect of her pioneering efforts. Robinson will talk about the historical impact of Switzer’s pioneering efforts before introducing a four-minute video, narrated by actress Meryl Streep, describing the ripple effect of Switzer’s Boston story. He will then introduce Switzer, who will discuss being the hero in your own life.
