Celebrating the Women of VCU Brunch

Get ready for an inspiring morning of connection and community celebrating the women of VCU! The morning includes brunch, mimosas, complimentary professional headshots (a $350 value), interactive discussions and exclusive giveaways. This year’s theme is “Spilling the Tea: Bold Women, Bold Leadership” with a panel of women alums.

And this tea is piping hot — guests will hear about a new university initiative before the rest of the VCU community.

The panel, hosted by Catherine Ingrassia, Ph.D., dean of the VCU College of Humanities and Sciences, will reveal untold truths, challenges and lessons learned. Our expert alumna panelists are:

• Kendra Cabler, Ph.D. (Ph.D.’19), senior manager, people strategy, DEI, Etsy Inc.
• Mykel Parham (B.A.’23), VCU women’s basketball and student-athlete advisory committee leader
• Katherine Wintsch (M.S.’01), founder and CEO, The Mom Complex, author of “Slay Like a Mother”

Biscuit and bagel bar

• Buttermilk biscuits and sliced bagels with bourbon-glazed bacon and sausage patties, cranberry aioli, maple syrup, hot honey, cheese slices, maple butter, flavored cream cheese and assorted jams/jellies (vegan options)

• Belgium waffles served with crispy chicken breasts; toppings : Nashville hot sauce, maple syrup, sriracha aioli, whipped cinnamon butter, whipped cream and assorted jams
