VCU Social Work, Policy and Politics: Futuring for Transformative Approaches to Policymaking in Richmond, VA

Join the VCU School of Social Work for its annual Social Work, Policy and Politics event. The 2025 topic is Futuring for Transformative Approaches to Policymaking in Richmond, VA, a conversation exploring how macro, mezzo and micro social work can intertwine to promote imagination that shapes local policies and promotes community healing. Expert panelists will discuss innovative solutions for how social workers and community members can influence both “big P” and “little p” policies. You are invited to engage in the conversation, gain new perspectives and leave with new insights on creating meaningful, transformative change in your community. Q&A and a networking period will follow the panel. Panelists to be announced. Refreshments will be provided.
