VCU Commencement Assembly

Gather for the 2024 Universitywide Commencement, where you will be recognized as a 50- year or more graduate of VCU. All alumni who graduated prior to 1975 are invited to participate. NOTE: Guests will be seated separately.

Please wear an official Golden Alumni stole during Commencement, which are available for purchase (see form below). If you have an older version of the stole, you can exchange it for a new one or borrow one to wear. Email Diane Stout-Brown (B.S.W.’80) at dstout@vcu.edu.

When: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11
Where: Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 N. Third St., Richmond, VA 23219. Enter through the Marshall Street entrance. Stoles will be distributed on the second floor, Room E20. A light breakfast will be provided.
Cost: Attendance is free; $25 for the stole.

Parking: Available in the parking garage adjacent to the convention center, at 351 N. 3rd St. The garage connects to the convention center on the third level. You may also park in one of many surface lots nearby. Fees apply.
